"Interacting with others reminds you that everyone else is experiencing new things constantly, just like you."
What has changed in your life for you and your family during this pandemic?
My family has become a lot closer during this pandemic, and we also argue less. We just seem more relaxed as a whole.
How do you think COVID has changed the world as a whole?
I think COVID opened the world's eyes to a lot of unsustainability going on, such as jobs not paying enough to survive or a lot of unsanitary conditions.
How have you been taking care of your mental and overall health?
Overall, I think my mental health benefitted from staying home for so long despite the stressful conditions. One of the best things for me was being able to get more sleep, and having more time in the day to do things I enjoy.
How do you think this pandemic will affect your future?
The pandemic will definitely affect me in the long run. I'm part of a generation facing uncertain times, such as how it will affect the workforce or even college applications. For now, there are a lot of unknowns. It is also changing how businesses are run, meaning any job I get in the future will be an unknown as well.
Why do you think it's important to have human interactions with each other?
I think human interactions are important because it gives you different perspectives. Interacting with others reminds you that everyone else is experiencing new things constantly, just like you.
