What does school spirit mean to you?
To me school spirit basically just means sharing energy with your friends and the community at school. I think as teenagers a lot of us want to have fun and school is like a place for that where it's one way to have fun together. Having school spirit is also like a sale way for us to have fun where everyone of all grade levels can come together and appreciate it
How would you define community?
So to me community is like a place where you have people that you can lean on. Personally, one of my biggest communities is Key Club which does extend outside of Sage Creek. It's in like three states which I'm involved in but it's my biggest community because I feel very supported there. I have so many people that I can lean on who are key clubbers and also have adult advisors who I can lean on as well.
How would you describe Sage Creek's Bobcat community?
I feel like people here are generally academically motivated but at the same time, people still know how to have fun.like meeting new people and talking about their interests because everyone here is really nice and different.
Being back in person, do you have a favorite memory for this school year so far? If so, can you describe it?
I mean it's hard to pick one in particular, there's so many but I would say again, this kind of extends outside of Sage Creek with Key Club like all of the events we've had, those are probably all of my favorite memories. Every single event I've hosted, I've been able to meet all of my members, officers, and everyone is just so sweet. I feel like everyone in Key Club is literally so nice to me it makes me want to cry sometimes. I don't know why but because l feel like I work so hard for it and not everyone sees that. But when people do I feel really appreciated and I really love that.
How does the "Be your B.E.S.T." bring us together as a school?
I think it's kind of encourages everyone to be on their best behavior and want everyone to do their best in school with their academics to strive to do more extracurriculars just to kind of help our school do their best that we can, Like we can do our best in sports and academic clubs
