Ariana Ramos - Class of 2024

March 01, 2022: Series 03

"I get to do what I love while being around the people I love."

What does school spirit mean to you?

I think school spirit means being involved in school like when we have all of our pep rallies and games. Going to those things and cheering on your fellow Bobcats is really important especially as a member of ASB and Dance Company. Seeing other people's support is really important.

How would you define community?

I think community is when people come together and work together to reach a common goal or just making each other better by building off of each other, giving each other strength. This is a great campus where we can always do better with and for each other.

How does Sage Creek share the idea of "community" with everyone on campus?

I think ASB is kind of a big part of that but also when you see someone new, the people here like to go and talk to them and get to know them.

Do you have a favorite memory for this school year? If so, can you describe it to me?

So after a year of COVID and missing out on my freshman year, it's really cool to be back and just experience everything. But my favorite thing is probably being on the dance team. It's a really close knit team and from the first day of school we've had that friendship built in so it's really great to get to perform with them. I get to do what I love while being around the people I love.

How does the "Be your B.E.S.T" bring us together as a school?

I think that the "Be your B.E.S.T" is really great because it kind of sets an expectation for everyone because everyone always wants to do better which then pushes us to truly be ourselves here.

Humans of Sage Creek strives to create a greater community. You can join us. Your story can be told.
